Mr. Hackett is the managing partner of The Hackett Law Firm, driving its success with a proven legal background. As a former Deputy District Attorney at the San Mateo District Attorney’s Office, he integrates that expertise into his current practice.
Before law school, he led a sustainable wood decking export business in Nicaragua, which gives him a unique perspective and innovative strategies in legal matters. His passion for motorcycle riding reflects his determination and precision in navigating complex legal challenges. An avid reader and explorer, he gains valuable insights through travel that enhance his legal advocacy.

Sam Lasser

Sam Lasser has been practicing law in California for more than 16 years. He began his career in criminal defense and has practiced personal injury law for over 9 years, handling all types of cases with a special interest in premises liability law. Sam has broad experience and knowledge of the law.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, playing hockey, and all musical things.
